How we work

Mc Locksmith Service Prahran works out of 484 Malvern Rd, Prahran, and covers the suburbs around it. We do lock repairs, replacements, lockouts, residential and commercial work, and door hardware.

There is no founder story here, no team photos and no badges. Most of those claims cannot be checked by the person reading them, so we have left them out.

What we can explain is how the work goes. Locks need fine tolerances, but they live in rough conditions. Doors swell, frames settle and buildings move. Hardware fitted decades ago is still expected to turn smoothly today. Getting it right means looking at your door rather than using a standard answer.

The method is simple. We ask what changed and when. We check the door, the frame and the lock together instead of blaming the lock. We set out the options, including doing less than you expected. We do the agreed work, then test it before we leave.

It also means being clear about what we cannot do. We cannot diagnose a lock over the phone. We cannot promise a time we do not control. We cannot price a job before we know what it involves.
